4th Degree Dinner & Mid-Week Madness
Good morning everyone! Hope the wonderful Fall weather is treating you well.
A few things I wanted to bring attention / reminders to:
We will be having our 4th Degree Dinner NEXT THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 24TH, at Elegante in Honesdale (851 Main St, Honesdale, PA 18431) at 6:00PM
Dinner will be buffet style, includes dessert, and will be $28.
We will also be running a 50/50. Tickets will be 1 FOR $2 OR 3 FOR $5.
I will have some sort of door prize or runner up to the 50/50 as well.
Anyone interested in attending should confirm by no later than THIS THURSDAY, SEMPTEMBER 17th.
So far we only have four attending from our council, including myself.
Our annual council Golf Outing is coming up, and will be held SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 26th at the HONESDALE GOLF CLUB
Spots are still available, and again, you do not need to be a member of KOFC to play!
This means you can (and are encouraged to!) bully your friends and co-workers into playing!

Our multi-council event FIELD DAY WITH JESUS, will be held SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 27th at St. Thomas More following the 11am mass
We have been asked to provide buns, chips, and drinks for the event. Funding was voted on and approved at our last business meeting
In speaking with Hawley and Honesdale, it sounds like we have roughly 30+ kids coming from outside parishes.
With our parish, we may have a total exceeding 50 youth at the event + parents!
Let us all try to come out to this event and have fun! Outside of being a great way to relax and socialize, it will be a great opportunity to shine a light on our council and the KOFC organization
We will have an Exemplification of Charity, Unity, and Fraternity next month
Tentative date is SUNDAY, OCTOBER 11th at 2PM in the STM Parish Hall
Hawley has 5 candidates, and I believe we have 3
We are raffling TWO TICKETS to the Be A Catholic Man Conference (SATURDAY, OCTOBER 10th)
While not a KOFC event, the organizers contacted us and asked if we could spread awareness within our community
We have information on how parishioners can enter posted in STM and Saint Mary's, as well as on our website
Members of the council can also enter!
