AUGUST UPDATES

Hello all!

Quick updates and things to expect for our next meeting:

• As noted before, we have secured advertising in this month's Catholic Light publishing. An ad for our Golf Outing will be featured in it. Spots are still available, and you do not need to be a Knight to join!

• We just finished our 3rd week of football raffle tickets, with one more to go. Anyone wishing to help out on September 5th, please see the volunteer section at the top of this site, or reach out to myself! The more people attending, the better coverage we will have of both sides of Dutch's. This is our largest fund raising event for the year usually, so let's make this last date a strong one!

• Our next business meeting will be August 11th. Please attend if possible

• Dan B. has brought to us the idea of soliciting businesses for advertisement during our functions and events. We will discuss this on Tuesday.

• Our OPTIONS Baby Shower event will be Tuesday, September 8th. Please bring newborn related items, such as clothing or diapers, or cash if possible. If you wish, you can make a cash donation to the council, and we will use the money to pool together for bulk newborn purchases. This will be discussed at the next meeting.

• We will have a recruitment drive sometime in October, granted permission from our priest. We will discuss the possibilities of doing a monthly coffee/donut event after a mass, if for nothing, but to show that we are still present in our council.
