Exemplification, Fall Advertisement Letter, And More!
Greetings all!
We will be having an Exemplification of Charity, Unity, AND Fraternity this upcoming Sunday, which is OCTOBER 11TH. Per usual, it will be held at the Saint Thomas More Parish Hall, and will be at 2:00pm. Degree membefrs should try to get there at least half an hour early. Candidates have been contacted, and between the three councils, it seems there will be six new Third Degree Members!
This weeked, we are also having our annual recruitment drive at BOTH parishes, if possible. So far I have received a hefty -ZERO- replies about speaking at masses from our members, so I will be attempting to hit as many as I possibly can.
There will be pre-made packets of KOFC paraphernalia to hand out to men in our parish, so even if you do not wish to speak, you can help by handing those out or greeting parishioners in the narthex!
Our Fall Dinner Dance is coming up, and will be on FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 6TH at 6:00pm at the STM Parish Hall. If you would like to attend, or volunteer to help work the event, please contact Daniel B. Below, you can find a printable flyer for the event, as well as a letterhead for solicitations for local businesses.
Our Annual Council Memorial Mass is scheduled for NOVEMBER 8TH at 8:00am. Assuming it's at Saint Thomas More, but I will clear that up before the date arrives! AAAAAAAND lastly, our next business meeting will be NEXT TUESDAY, OCTOBER 13TH at 7:00pm. Social hour starts at 6:00pm. We will likely be changing the hours going forth, in order to have some light to drive home in during the winter months.
