Heya everyone! I'm going to try to implement an end of month roundup on this site. This is so we know what we're aiming for short-term, and to go over anything we've accomplished or anything new we have implemented for the council.

  • We collected newborn supplies for our ASAP program. These go to OPTIONS Women's Center in Scranton (and now Honesdale!). Rough estimations on my part, having had to use all of these supplies myself, we donated a bit over $350 in baby goods!

  • ree
  • We had one of our members, Paul Higgins (hopefully the spelling is correct!) take his 4th Degree at St. Anne's in Scranton. Big thanks to all the members of the council who made it out there!

  • We're continuing on with our Football Raffle Sales! If you're so inclined, you can even join us today (August 30th) from 9:00-13:00, or 1PM, at Dutch's to help with sales.

  • We began our ticket sales for Oktoberfest, which will be October 4th. Contact Bill Bell if you're interested in helping or attending.

  • And lastly, or at least the last thing I remember, is at our recent officer meeting, we discussed heavily the idea of merging the officer/council meetings to one day. If the vote passes at the business meeting, officers will meet at 5:30PM (or 17:30!) to rub our hands together and scheme behind the scenes. We will then have one hour of social time, which will lead directly into the meeting at 19:00 (or as you may have guessed, 7:00PM). This was proposed to make it easier for everyone to attend, and hopefully allow for a greater emphasis on the social hour.

If you've made it this far in the post, give yourself a pat on the back!

Then buy a raffle ticket..... And then consider joining the 4th degree...... And if you're not a Knight, join us.
