End Of Month Recap - September

Alrighty! Time for a brief rundown of the things that did and ... did happen this last month.

• We've had quite a few football tickets come back in September. I don't have the fingers or toes to give a proper count of preliminary numbers, but "a lot" is a sufficient estimate

• We voted to finalize the "once per meeting" thing discussed at last month's officer meeting. This means, going forth, and starting...November I think...We will have one meeting per month. Officers will meet at 4:30pm, and will conclude roughly at 5:00pm. We will have the one hour social time, and then start our business meeting at 6:00pm. This will allow the meeting to finish before it gets too terribly dark/ hazardous in the approaching winter months.

• We have unfortunately cancelled Octoberfest for this year. There was a general lack of want in the community towards this event, and we have decided to cut our losses and nix it. We will discuss alternatives at the next meeting.

• There has been quite a few terrible events in our country and local community with regards to shootings. Please keep all victims - and perpetrators - in your prayers.
