Early September Update
Good evening everyone!
Friendly reminder that next TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 8TH, we will be having our next business meeting. Social hour is at 6:00PM and the meeting starts at 7:00PM. I have been told by many individuals that I will get some sort of commendation if the meeting goes under one hour. Unfortunately I have no plans to do so! We will have our speaker(s) from OPTIONS Women's Center talking to us before the business meeting starts, so please try to be there by 6:30PM! We will also be having our annual Baby Shower event for them.
There will be hoagies and a cake for us to enjoy, and plenty of presents from ALL OF YOU for our lovely guest(s) and their life-saving operation. Items should be for newborns (diapers, onesies, burp cloths etc) or just cold hard cash (babies like the crunchy sound)
We will be doing our FINAL Ticket Raffles at Dutch's THIS SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 5TH, from 9AM-2PM. Please come out if you can! More people = more coverage = more money for the council! All you have to do is sit around and occasionally say hello to people!
The next 4TH DEGREE DINNER will be hosted by the ever wonderful Lake Ariel Council (us), and will be at Elegante in Honesdale, PA. Dinner is $28 a head and includes dessert. I'm a quite frugal man, but I think it's well worth it! A 50/50 will be held to benefit the assembly. Tickets will be 1 FOR $2 OR 3 FOR $5. I will also have some sort of door prizes. Anyone interested in attending should confirm by no later than THURSDAY, SEMPTEMBER 17th. Or Else. (seriously, sign up by then, please)
My wonderful wife Elizabeth has procured a mass for recently deceased Knight, Mark Durdach. It is a daily mass which will be held Saturday - Decemeber 12th, 2026 - 8:15am @ St. Marys. Please try to attend this date if possible!
Field Day With Jesus will be happening SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 27TH after the 11AM MASS @ STM. See this page for more information.
